The Tea Party is YOU! Proud American’s who believe in the founding principles of The Constitution and who cherish freedom and liberty and believe in individual responsibility. Those of us who wish to limit government spending, size and power, preserve our free market system and the American dream, and ensure State and National sovereignty and security.
For too long, we’ve allowed our politicians to spend recklessly, govern foolishly, disregard laws, practice and promote divisiveness, ignore our will and slowly chip away at our cherished rights and liberties. But no more! A sleeping giant – the American people – have awoken. We will be silent no more!
Our power emanates not from a leader – but from the sheer size, determination, growing influence and on-going successes of our Tea Party membership. We are Proud American’s from all parties, races, cultures and religions bounded together by a common mission critical purpose. We know the stakes are high, and failure is not an option. Thus, every Tea Party member, their voice, vote and activism is mission critical to achieving our common cause!
Politicians – in all parties and at all levels – must adhere to our core values and tirelessly address our concerns and causes to win our support. Recent elections have shown that the Tea Party movement is critical to a candidate’s success – or failure. We will be paying attention – and communicating vigorously. For an informed electorate can not be fooled again.
North Houston Tea Party Patriots (NHTPP) is just one of hundreds of Tea Parties and other common-cause organizations around the country. Together, we are successfully chipping away at the giant (our bloated, over-spending, irresponsible, non-responsive, divisive, social-agenda-driven government). Since its inception, NHTPP has sponsored many Tea Party events, rallies, protests, informative speakers, training sessions, and the 9/12 March on Washington, DC. We’ve been actively involved in informing and educating the electorate, evaluating candidates, neighborhood activities, fund-raising, advertising and promotions. We keep close ties to other Tea Parties and similar organizations to ensure we adopt the best new ideas and insure uniform messaging country-wide. Our plans for the future include focusing on those endeavors and events that have proven successful while implementing targeted new campaigns to further our cause while leveraging our strengths, our needs and our limited resources.
