Get Out The Vote (GOTV) efforts are key to our system of representative democracy.  Whatever group does the best job of “getting out the vote” will be most successful in having its preferred policies enacted (ie, “elections have consequences”).

The goal of the North Houston Tea Party Patriots is to effect conservative public policy consistent with Tea Party principles, and our strategy is to Get Out The CONSERVATIVE Vote, via Neighborhood Networking and Voter Registration.

NEIGHBORHOOD NETWORKING

“Community Organizing for Conservatives” – identify and connect with our conservative neighbors and build informed, cohesive conservative voting blocs.  More on Neighborhood Networking.

Neighborhood Networking ACTIONS include:  

• Acting as a “neighborhood captain”
• Organizing NHTPP members by neighborhood
• Conducting issues surveys and entering data 
• Working within existing precinct/neighborhood structures to expand our influence
• Initiate neighborhood social/political gatherings

VOTER REGISTRATION

NHTPP wants to register as many new conservative voters as possible, by training members as Deputy Voter Registrars and holding registration drives targeted to likely-conservative voters.  More about Voter Registration.

Voter Registration ACTIONS include: 

• Becoming a Deputy Voter Registrar in Harris and/or Montgomery County
• Organize and work at voter registration drives.
