Obama Administration Formally Opening Nation’s ‘First Climate Science Center’

Surely Former President Bill Clinton would agree that a Climate Science Center never fed a hungry a child.  So why would our current socialist President support this?  Worst yet, why would our budget set aside funds for 8 more of these?

“The budget requests $11 million to complete the planned network of eight Climate Science Centers.”

So Called ENVIRONMENTAL protection really STINKS!  No, really, it has caused a major smell in California!

“San Francisco’s big push for low-flow toilets has turned into a multimillion-dollar plumbing stink . . . The city has already spent $100 million over the past five years to upgrade its sewer system and sewage plants, in part to combat the odor problem.”

“Now officials are stocking up on a $14 million, three-year supply of highly concentrated sodium hypochlorite – better known as bleach – to act as an odor eater and to disinfect the city’s treated water before it’s dumped into the bay. It will also be used to sanitize drinking water.”

Really?  They are going to dump bleach into the bay and/or the drinking water?  Is that environmentally friendly?

HERE IS SCOT T.’S SUBMISSION (with editor’s paragraph breaks). . .

How’s that price of unleaded gas setting with you.

Believe you me, Obama’s secretary of Energy, Steven Chu wants to see it rise to European prices of $ 7-9 a gallon . In an interview with the Wall Street Journal last September, Dr Chu stated ” somehow we have to figure out how to boost prices to the levels in Europe.” The strategy is to force the conversion of America to other forms of clean energy, solar, electric, wind, bicycles, skate boards, any thing but fossil fuels.. fast tracking is the premise..

Well, Dr Chu, Obama ’s own, is getting his wish. Gasoline this past December was fifty cents higher than last year. In California it hit $4.51 per gallon with no end any where in the forseable future.. the skys the limit…  The turmoil in the Middle East is a catalyst , cut off the flow of oil , the price will jump as we are witnessing today.   Obama’s use of the Environmental Protection Agency and its restrictive regulations to shut down and cripple domestic oil exploration onshore as well as off shore, the moratorium in the Gulf of Mexico, failure to develope the North Slope, no construction of new refineries on any coastline.

Folks, you have to be blind to see this administrations strategy, which will destroy any chance of economic recovery in our life time..  Obama’s regulatory agency, the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, Regulation and Enforcement has over 100 permits for drilling offshore sitting on its desks with no action taken. The 5 th FederalDistrict Court in New Orleans holds Obama’s Interior Department in contempt of court for not lifting the moratorium.   It is horrific what the ” Crats ” have done by design to achieve Obama’s policies when it comes to clean energy transformation.  With over 2 million trucks in this country delivering every thing from food to toilet paper to the American populace, all burning diesel fuel, their fuel cost increases will be passed on to the consumer, they will have to in order to stay profitable.

The lastest price for diesel I saw today was well near 3.5 dollars per gallon, probably already $5 in California..   When you one day pay over a  $ 150 to fill your tank, and buy a roll of toilet paper for $ 4 and an apple for $ 3,  stop and think why and who is responsible. Dude.. it ain’t the Arabs……, it ain’t the big oil, it ain’t ” W’s. “ fault,    Its your “Crat” secretary of energy and his boss, O.

Yesterday we alerted (via the Austin Tea Party) you to how our Texas Senate will be working to pass two bills, which will take away our rights to groundwater on OUR property.

Well, in addition to what is happening in the Senate, John D., a Walker County Resident, immediately sent this in to us.  You see, the government has its hands in all of our pockets and then just keeps trying to get more.  We MUST STOP THEM NOW!  Understand it is regardless of political party.

Here is what John D. sent us . . .

I don’t know what the Texas Senate is cooking up, but I have already lost my groundwater rights via Bluebonnet Groundwater
Conservation District.
I operate a 286 acre not for profit youth camp.  Because youth camps must get their water from “an approved source” and no public water utility is available in our area, we drilled our own well on our land to State specs and operate our own state approved ”public water supply” which supplies no water off of our own acreage.
Officials of the Bluebonnet Groundwater Conservation District required us to pay them to register our wells with them.  We also paid an application fee and a fee to cover a permit which put limits on how much groundwater we could use annually out of our own well. (which existed long before BGCD)  We are also required to report monthly how much water we use and pay a fee per 1000 gallons to them.  The fee has doubled in the last three years.
The BGCD does not regulate private (homeowner) wells or agricultural wells.  As of now these are not monitored at all.
From what I can tell, the BGCD does nothing except file papers and collect and spend money.  They certainly do not conserve groundwater.  Imagine how I felt when I asked the city manager of Huntsville, TX how much money the city paid to BGCD for the city’s wells, and he replied, “nothing, we don’t pay them anything”.  So much for equal protection under the law.  Conroe, TX uses much more than it’s fair share of groundwater…I am curious as to how much they pay to BGCD???
I think our elected officials understand how the camel gets into the tent.  They get voters to approve things like BGCD by promising, “your personal well and agricultural wells are exempt” and they cut deals with cities only to come back a few years later and “POOF!” your personal and agricultural wells now have meters and taxes assessed on them.  Your water rights are gone.
After the govt. gets all the water, how much longer before they go after my mineral rights too?  They’ll probably get capped and traded away somehow so that someone other than the mineral owners get fat.

Look what Michael E.  found and sent to us!

 THE OBAMA PHONE:

Just when you think you’ve heard it all, our illustrious Congress quietly comes up with a new zinger to put their hands in your pockets, and pick them while you aren’t watching.  Isn’t this just wonderful!

I was standing in line at the checkout counter at Wal Mart and as  I looked at the line behind me, I saw a couple of people talking about what looked like identical new cell phones, bragging about the fact that  their phones were free and so was the airtime.

The woman in line behind me had heard the same exchange and turned to the young man behind her and asked, “Is that a new type of cell  phone?” The young man replied, “Yes, this is my new ‘Obama phone’”.  She asked him what an “Obama phone” was, and he went on to say  that, “Welfare recipients are now eligible to receive” what he described as (1) a FREE new cell phone, and (2) approximately 70 FREE minutes of air time every month.

Needless to say, I was a little skeptical about his answer, so when I got back home, I ‘Googled’ it, and lo and behold, he was telling the truth. This was what I discovered:

SafeLink Wireless is a government supported program that provides a free cell phone and airtime each month for income-eligible customers.  In other words, your tax dollars are being distributed to a wireless phone provider to provide welfare recipients with free cell  phones and airtime.  I don’t know about you, but as for me, enough is enough. We are $14 Trillion in debt, Congress is increasing the  dole-out to dead beats.

The ship of State is sinking, and it’s sinking fast. The old concept of getting ahead through hard work has flown out the window. It  has been replaced by Obama’s and Congress’ idea of “Hope and Change.” The  country has changed all right, changed to “Why should I work for it, when  I can get it for free?”

You can click on the link below to confirm for yourself that the  “Obama Phone” is real.

Afraid . . . Deaf . . .Enemies of the Republic? . . .You Make the Call

Allow me a few statements that can be seen as fact:

  • The Election of 2010 did not “win” back the republic, but instead was one step in the right direction.
  • Saving the State of Texas and the jobs within it are as important as what happens in DC.
  • We need to rule, and leaders that rule, by principle and strong core values and not by wishy washy, blow in the wind whims of the moment.

What is worse?  Someone who is a leader who openly discloses his true intentions even though they are evil, or a leader who pretends to be something for the people, but behind closed doors sells his soul to the devil?

Rep. Rob Eissler (republican), Rep. Brandon Creighton (Republican), and Rep. John Otto (republican),  all Texas State House Representatives for the Montgomery County area were recently elected to their positions by their overwhelmingly Red, Conservative Constituents.  They have also all promised to adhere to Conservative priniciples.

SO HOW COME THEY HAVE CHANGED THEIR MINDS AND TURNED AGAINST CONSERVATIVE VALUES?

It begs the question, did they initially mean what they said or do they mean it now?  Are their actions going to back up their promises?

We all appreciate heavy deliberation especially on weighty issues.  We all appreciate the work these men do and this is not a personal issue against any of them.  And as far as at least Rep. Brandon Crieghton is concerned, he has been a steady and consistent advocate for Conservative Values.

So why the waffling now?  PERHAPS YOUR VOICE HASN’T BEEN HEARD.

What are we talking about?

The Texas House is going to vote on a new Speaker of the House.  The current speaker, is Rep. Joe Straus, who is also running again.

In a House, controlled by Republicans, dominated by Pro-Life, Conservative minded individuals, how can someone like Straus become Speaker and better yet, how could it happen again.

It first happened when non-Conservative Republicans like Rep. Rob Eissler joined with 10 other republicans and 74 HOUSE DEMOCRATS to elect Straus Speaker.  Yes, that is correct, Democrats, in a Republican controlled House, were the ones who elected Straus Speaker, but not before getting help from the likes of weak Republicans like Eissler.

Rep. Eissler has again, despite consistent and constant constituent urging to the otherwise, stated he will vote for Straus.

Unfortunately, and for some unknown reason, Rep. Creighton and Rep. Otto have said they will do the same.  Their reasoning is weak and counter to what their constituents are asking.  It also defies the evidence against Straus.  Why do we always see weak Republicans needing evidence and support that they are Conservative?  Does Milton Friedman need people to provide evidence he was a Free Market Capitalist?  I think not.

In a county that is Redder than a fully ripened habanero pepper, how do we end up with representatives that refuse to listen to the people?

Perhaps they either are not listening or we are not yelling loud enough!

Tell them now, tell them at their offices and tell them JANUARY 10-11TH!

The Heritage Foundation lays out a plan for significant spending cuts:
Federal spending is on an unsustainable path that risks disaster for America.
